We are building the go-to team in the air cargo industry for commercial decision-making tools and solutions with a strategy-first approach.
What you’ll be doing
We are looking for talented graduates to join our strategy consulting team. You will join a young an entrepreneurial company and are part of a unique, structured, experienced, and well-connected, strategy consulting team.
Together with the rest of Rotate, you will help define the strategic direction of airlines, and design, co-develop, and implement data-driven solutions for commercial decisions at (cargo) airlines.
In the first year, with mentoring and support of the rest of the team, you should feel comfortable with the following responsibilities:
- Structure complex airline problems and propose a way to solve them
- Manage data collection and data quality (together with our data engineers)
- Own the end-to-end analysis and process (with minimal oversight)
- Derive clearly articulated findings and takeaways from analysis
- Prepare easy to understand communication materials (sometimes together with our frontend developers)
- Work effectively with diverse teams and cultures, to come up with the most effective and efficient solutions to client questions
- Manage junior client stakeholders
- Confidentially communicate your findings internally, and in client meetings
What you’ll need
- An undergraduate or master’s degree
- You have proven to perform well under pressure, either in academic or other fields
- You have an ability to distinguish and prioritize key issues from noise (the 80/20 principle)
- You are excited to work in the global airline and air cargo industry
- You are comfortable working in PowerPoint and Excel. A basic understanding of Python and SQL is a plus
- You enjoy working in cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams, with people at all levels
- You are willing to travel globally for assignments
- You are fluent in English. Other languages are a great plus.

Where is the position located?
We have chosen to be based in Utrecht within walking distance from the Central Station. We find value in being together as we collaborate to build exciting new products, while offering flexibility to accommodate different ways of working.
