Chairman - Feiko Smid

Hello, my name is Feiko Smid. Currently I am 23 years old and I am planning on finishing my bachelor Technology Management this year so I can start with the master Technology & Operations Management. I am proud that I can be the chairman of TeMa from the 9th of July on, which I really look forward to. For TeMa I have done two committees in the past two years, the Social Committee and the Lustrum Committee. In these two years I have got to know TeMa in such a way that made me enthusiastic to commit a full year as TeMa Board. I have got to know a lot of TeMa-members that care about the association and that is really beautiful to see. Besides TeMa I also have hobby’s (you would not say so), namely watching/playing soccer and to watch series. I hope to see all of you at and also outside TeMa-activities next year!

Secretary & Promotion - Larissa Staal

Hi everyone! My name is Larissa Staal, I am 21 years old and grew up in a small city around the amazing student city center Groningen. At the moment I am finishing my Bachelor Technology management before I will start my challenging board year. I became an active member two years ago to get to know more people who were following the same courses as I did. In my first two years I fulfilled respectively the positions of chairman in the activity committee and the introduction committee. Until today I have never regretted becoming an active member at TeMa. After finishing my bachelor I was looking for a new adventure and according to me a Board year is an amazing challenge. I really hope to see you at all the activities, and do not hesitate to drink a cup of coffee in the new TeMa room at the interim. I am more than pleased to answer all your questions! 

Treasurer & Vice-Chairman - Ruurd Dobber

Hi everybody! My name is Ruurd Dobber, 21 years young and raised in Apeldoorn. I am currently completing my Bachelor Technology Management and next year I will be Treasurer & Vice Chairman of the Board 2019-2020. As an active member at TeMa, I have been chairman of the ISP to Krakow and last year I had the honor of being chairman of the International Committee. In addition to TeMa, I also enjoy cooking, reading a book or drinking a few beers with friends in my spare time. I am really looking forward to work for TeMa this coming academic year and look forward to seeing old friends again and getting to know new people.

Internal Relations - Femke te Velthuis

Hi everyone! My name is Femke te Velthuis, 22 years old and I will be responsible for the Internal Relations of the TeMa Board 2019-2020. I am born and raised in the beautiful Achterhoek (actually in a small village with less than 10.000 inhabitants) and I am currently doing a Double Degree Master in SCM & TOM at the University of Groningen. During my Bachelor’s degree I spent 6 months in South Africa for my minor abroad. I enjoyed it so much that when I got back in Groningen I applied for the International Study Project (ISP) committee. As an active member of TeMa I had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and to attend all kind of fun & interesting activities TeMa organizes. After this year I felt like I was ready for the next step, which gave me reason to apply for the TeMa Board. Next to traveling, I am a skiing enthusiast, a diving hobbyist and I love a good cup of coffee! So feel free to drop by our office for a cup of coffee anytime. See you soon! 

External Relations - Gijs Boeve

Hello! My name is Gijs Boeve and I’m 21 years old. I’m born in Zwolle and I grew up in Dalfsen. I just finished my Bachelor Technology Management and this year I will be External Relations. I’m an active member of TeMa for two years now. I was part of the Media Committee and the Introduction Committee. I liked this a lot so I decided to do a board year for TeMa. I’m looking forward to do everything I can to make this a unforgettable year for me, TeMa and especially you! I hope to see you at our activities, the socials and our new boardroom!
