International Study Project (ISP) 2025
The International Study Project (ISP) is an exciting study event where members of TeMa travel to a European city to explore its culture, visit companies, and learn about their operations outside of the Netherlands. This year, we will travel to Vienna!
The ISP will take place from Sunday, April 13th, until Sunday, April 20th, during the first week of period 2.2. Throughout the trip, we will visit various companies, including:
- MSC: A leading global shipping company with a strong presence in Vienna.
- Wienerberger: A key player in building materials and sustainable construction solutions.
- DHL: One of the world's largest logistics and supply chain service providers.
- The Dutch Embassy: The Dutch Embassy in Austria plays a crucial role in fostering diplomatic relations and economic collaboration between the Netherlands and Austria.
Theme: Connecting the Past and Future: Strategies for Resilient and Efficient Operations in Vienna
Throughout the trip, we will focus on the following subthemes:
1. Digitalisation and Innovation in Supply Chain Management
2. Resilience and Risk Management
3. Sustainable Supply Chain
Back at home, you will work on an assignment related to the companies we visit. You will collaborate in a group of three and present your findings to the rest of the participants.
However, ISP is not just about learning – it’s also about having fun! We will explore Vienna’s nightlife and culture, and you will also have free time to discover the city at your own pace.
Participation and Selection Process
A total of 30 people will participate in the ISP, including the ISP Committee, the Board of 2024-2025, 18 other students, and one lecturer. This means that there are only 18 spots available!

These learning objectives will be taken into account in the selection process.
