Batavierenrace 2023

Do you want to be part of the biggest relay race of the world and join the biggest student party of Europe? Then this event is for you! As every year, TeMa is participating in the famous Batavierenrace! On the 28th and 29th of April, the biggest run event of the Netherlands will take place! The Batavierenrace is a relay which starts at Nijmegen and finishes at the center of Enschede. It is every year a big success and lots of fun! This year, TeMa will run together with Faculty Association Ibn Battuta! 

There are 25 stages from a different distance, varying from 3 till 7 kilometers. You can sign up for the 3 distances you prefer! We do not only need runners, but also drivers! Drivers do not need to run, but only drive the runners to their meeting spot and back. Perfect if you don’t want to run, but still want to participate in this big event!

Everyone will be staying on a camping, so besides running, it is also a great opportunity to get to know your fellow TeMa members! The costs for this huge event are only 30 euros! This includes the drive to Nijmegen, staying at the camping, meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and of course participation in this amazing competition! The race is on the 28th and 29th of April, and there is a huge afterparty in Enschede! The bus back to Groningen will leave on the 30th of April. 

There are limited places available, so be quick to sign up! The deadline for enrolments is set on the 15th of March, 12:00. Hope to see you there!
