Avebe Escape Room Game

"Haal er uit wat er in zit" - that is the slogan of our partner for this event, Avebe. Loosely translated this means 'Let's make the best of it' but it resembles Avebe's mission statement of using every aspect of the raw materials they work with, potatoes. Avebe started as a potato flour cooperation but due to their continuous strive for innovation, they have managed to develop the newest technologies that make them an international expert on starch and high-quality protein. Avebe provides not only food markets but has also important clothing and paper industries as its customers, everything for a more durable and sustainable future. 

Avebe, Innovation by Nature. 

When COVID hit, Avebe immediately noticed its effects. The international demand for starch changed a lot while there was an enormous oversupply of potatoes that couldn't be used immediately in the food industry. The strategical decisions which needed to be made then and are still being made now, have been put in a game by Avebe.

The game will be played in two rounds. One group (max 8 persons) will start at 13:00 and the second group will start at 15:00. At 17:00 the event will be closed off with a small social at the FoodCourt at Zernike.
