The work
The Supply Chain and Operations team is part of the Strategy & Consulting Practice at Accenture the Netherlands. As a Supply Chain & Operations Junior Consultant, you are involved in transforming our clients’ Supply Chains and/or Procurement departments, into future-ready Supply Chain networks that balance the evolving expectations of customers, employees, investors and others, to drive profitable growth, and to do business the right way.

Team: As junior consultant you will become part of a dynamic team of more than 50 consultants that use their deep industry insights, knowledge, and innovative ideas to drive change and growth for our clients every day. Positioned at the crucial intersection of business, technology and industry, we devise creative new strategies based on trends, insights and data. With an eye for competitive advantage, digital disruption, sustainability, and the future workforce, we take on the challenge of designing and implementing transformative business solutions, using the newest technology, including genAI. Daily tasks: You will work in all aspects of the supply chain, from planning and fulfillment to procurement, supplier relationship management and manufacturing. You will be involved in a wide range of engagements, from developing strategies and operating models to implementing improvement initiatives like sustainable logistics solutions or building new capabilities such as advanced planning processes using the latest digital technologies.

Technology: Our projects typically have a strong technology component, whether its supporting the deployment of advanced supply chain/procurement tools in planning like BlueYonder, O9, Kinaxis, Coupa, using process mining tools like Celonis to get a deep understanding of process complexity and improvement areas or doing deep data analyses using advanced analytics tools like PowerBI, technology is at the core of our work!

Data: Supply chains are generating enormous amounts of data these days, and our work relies heavily on fact based data-driven insights. As Junior consultant you will be driving the analyses to uncover the hidden insights and support our clients make the right decisions. From analyzing customer order patterns and shipment data to improve transport strategy, running process mining analyses or defining savings opportunities based on procurement spending data, you will be working with supply chain data on a daily basis!

Qualifications
Here's what you'll need

Excellent communicational skills (Dutch and English are a must)

Master’s degree, preferably on the cross-section of technology/engineering and business/economics (e.g. industrial engineering, econometrics, operations research, supply chain management, (Beta-)science)

Proactive, driven individual that is looking for professional and personal growth

Open to data analytics and related technologies
Bonus point's if you have

International experience (study / internship / work)

Interest in genAI and other advanced technologies
