Hey everyone! My name is Tijmen Koster, and I’m currently studying the masters Supply Chain Management and Change Management. I have been an active member of TeMa since October 2023. Last year I was part of the Activity Committee, and this year I am organising ISP to Vienna together with my committee! 

Before starting with my masters I did the bachelor business administration with B&M track, and didn’t know about TeMa. When I had my first master courses, the Board at the time promoted the introduction events through a lecture talk, and me and a friend decided to just have a look!

When we got there, we were directly got included in all the conversations and had great fun in the escape room! After the event there was also room for some drinks, and at the end the next activity got promoted as well. I decided to go there again as I had such a great time, and then I got approached by an active member to join a committee, and I chose the Activity Committee where I got to know TeMa. This year I wanted to be part of the TeMa actives family again and organise an even bigger event, so I joined the ISP committee (especially because I had so much fun last year in Paris!).

What I really like about TeMa is the open atmosphere, where people are very welcoming & friendly and really open to start a conversation with anyone present at the activities. I really love that everyone is interested in the same fields, which makes it easy to connect at both the personal as the professional level. 

Being part of a committee is also a really fun edition to your student life, and you can determine the workload yourself by applying for different committees. Next to the serious meetings and tasks we do as a committee, we also have plenty of time for fun stuff! And of course we attend the career-related events and social activities together, where we also meet a lot of other actives.

All in all, TeMa is just a really great place to make friends and valuable connections!
