Hi, I’m Harry. I have recently completed the double degree in Operations Management, where I studied Technology and Operations Management at the RUG. I joined TeMa during the Lustrum last year and have recently become an active member as the Master committee’s treasurer.
During the Lustrum, I was impressed by the openness of the members, who were very welcoming even though I didn’t know many people. Also, it was really fun to get to know the people in my study on a more personal level. After enjoying the Lustrum, I decided to go to a few events when I had time. A personal highlight was the TeMa beerpong tournament where my team reached the semi-final. These events provided a good break from studying and inspiration for what I could do after my degree.
Recently, I became an active member of TeMa. I decided to become an active member because I wanted to be part of a close team organising an event. The Master Committee organised a beer and wine tasting event. The TeMa board was very supportive, guiding our committee and explaining how I should conduct the event’s finances. Besides the event, there have been lots of committee dinners and active member hangouts, which have been a great chance to make friends.
