Batavierenrace
Ready for one of the most fun weekends of the year? On the 8th, 9th, and 10th of May, TeMa will join the famous Batavierenrace: two days of running and, in the evening, the biggest student party of Europe!
The Batavierenrace is known as the largest relay race in the world and takes students all the way from Nijmegen to the centre of Enschede. Every year, it is an unforgettable event full of sport, energy, team spirit, and fun.
The relay consists of 25 stages, with separate stages for men and women, ranging from 3 to 10 kilometres. Whether you are a fanatic runner or just in for the fun, team spirit, and experience, the Batavierenrace is for everyone. When signing up, you can indicate whether you prefer to run 3-5, 5-7, or 7-10 kilometres. We will use these preferences to create a suitable running schedule, although we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned your preferred distance.
Of course, the Batavierenrace is not only about the race itself. Throughout the weekend, everyone will stay at the campsite in Enschede, which makes it the perfect opportunity to spend time with your fellow TeMa members and enjoy the atmosphere together. The weekend also includes the biggest student party in Europe in the evening. We will all travel back together on Sunday morning, making it a full weekend away with TeMa.
A limited number of participants can join the Batavierenrace with TeMa, so make sure to sign up quickly. The participation fee is €37,50 per person. This includes:
